As I was reading through the thread a KZ2 comercial came on. First one I have seen during prime time.
On topic: Who really cares? Would love to see another game in the series. If not, well, there are TONS of games coming out. I don't get hung up on one specific game like it's the end all be all. I loved KZ2. I also loved Oblivion, GoW series, COD, Rainbow series, Fable, Ghost Recon series, The Darkness, Halo series, Fallout 3, MGS series, Jericho, GTA, GT, on and on....

I rent it. I beat it. I return it. I can get 5, 10-day rentals from blockbuster cheaper than buying the game. That is plenty of time to beat the SP, play some coop and go online if the MP is good. I mean, really, people still have Resistance 1 installed "in case a buddy comes over"? A game has got to be one serious piece of greatness with a KICKASS MP to actually warrant $59.99 plus tax. Yeesh.

You, sir, are a moron. I TOTALY use my blue ray option with my PS3. I am a die hard gamer, have 20k in Gamerscore points on XBL and tons of trophies on my PS3. I probably watch 3-5 movies a week using the Blu-ray.

I just can't get over not being able to move and shoot at the same time. I know it's what the series uses but every time I try it I just get frusterated. I'm just gonna run through Dead Space again til Heavy Rain comes out. Great looking game, though. Hope is sells well on both systems.
what exactly makes one game "outdo" another? To the publishers, it's prob sales. To me, it's the overall experience. Just because one game has better particle effects than another but the controler layout might be a little worse does not make a game a "winner" or "loser" in my opinion. It's how much replay I find myself doing and if it has a strong multiplayer.
Maybe rent the TC game and see if it's alright but everything else is pretty lame IMO.

I must admit I am an Achievement whore as well. It's not like I buy a game just for it but after beating a game I always go in and try to get the points. It feels sooooo good when after hours of game play you FINALY get that one elusive point. Plus, you have bragging rights with your friends, etc. It's a good thing.

The controls are perfect. I understand that the younger generation is all amp'd up on Ritilin and RedBull and because of that they cannot hold their hand still long enough to take a KZ2 headshot. It's called skill and patience. Tactical shooting. Go play a twitcher spay and pray if you are into that but do not slam one of the best games of the year because you lack hand/eye coordination.
is that trailer that was put out a while back. I really didn't see much change considering this is going to be a next gen game. Considering my crackhead addiciton to Oblivion, it really needs to be raising the bar for the RPG genre.
For me, I could care less about Netflix, movies, tv whatever on the online networks. I log on for one reason and that is to play MP. The only reason I favor my 360 is the ability to have a party (therefore, voiding the endless drivel spewed by your common 14 year old brat) and the ease of playing matches with friends, chatting, etc. However, with PS3 exclusives such as KZ2, of course I am on PSN for that one. All the clutter and ads and stuff are worthless to me.

This game seriously rocks. If you're a twitcher FPS lover then you might not like it. Having to steadily aim your gun through black billowing smoke with grenades going off and red eyes flanking you to stop you from taking down one of the many damn rocket launcher dudes is awesome! A true tactical shooter with FPS intensity. The physics are amazing, the enemy is SMART AS ALL BLODDY HELL.

We could go on all day about MS this and that and what they should have done but didn't. I'm no CEO but I'm quite certain with the pressure of the initial launch day looming and the millions put into the 360, if a engineer had come to me at the end to say "um, small prob with disc scratching" that I wouldn't halt the flow and recall everything and lose millions and millions of dollars AND my foothold in the market.

I feel like I'm drunk when I try to read translated pages. On Chapter 5.3! Gotta say, this game is pretty dope! Was never a big fan of the controls but it really is more intense trying to aim without moving. I'm quite impressed with Capcom.
